Wild Horse (also known as Crazy Horse) gemstones are mined near Globe, Arizona. The creamy white is magnesite, while the rich chocolate brown is the matrix. This is a very popular stone here in the Southwest.
We've mixed these wonderful stones with Nacozari turquoise rondelles from Sonora, Mexico and natural-colored orange & red spiny oyster shell "pueblo" shape beads from Baja, California. Copper French ear wires (in honor of the Copper State). What a look!
