Symbolism is very important to the Native Americans. The shape of this Navajo ring is made to resemble a mountain (brings healing). Carved into one side of the ring is a sign of the sun (new day, new beginning), and the other a rain cloud with lightning (for change and renewal).
Across the shoulders and top of the ring are squares of cultured deep blue/green opals, three oblongs of spiny oyster shell, and two of cultured fire opals. Bezel-set cultured sparkling fire opal cabochons are on either side of the top. Sterling silver.
This ring is sure to be an heirloom.
